Gentle, evidence-based interventions for teens and adults experiencing anxiety, panic, or chronic worry. Our approach combines somatic techniques, cognitive reframing, and mindfulness to help you understand anxiety triggers, regain a sense of calm, and build confidence in daily life.
Anxiety can show up in many ways; racing thoughts, restlessness, difficulty sleeping, or even physical tension. Counselling helps you understand where your anxiety comes from and teaches you calming techniques to manage it more effectively.
Together, we'll identify triggers, unhelpful thinking patterns, and practical coping strategies. You'll learn mindfulness and grounding exercises, and gradually build confidence to handle stressful situations with greater calm and control.
In your first session, we'll talk about your experiences with anxiety; what it feels like, when it tends to show up, and how it affects your daily life. We'll set small, achievable goals and discuss what kind of support will work best for you.
Sessions usually run for 50 minutes each. Many clients start to notice improvement after 6–10 sessions, though the process may be shorter or longer depending on individual needs and the depth of the anxiety.
We'll track your progress by checking in on symptoms, coping confidence, and daily functioning. You'll also be encouraged to reflect on changes in your thoughts and behaviours (subtle signs of growth that signal healing).
